today was quite, say, eventful?
i forgot to do my maths, so was chionging during english and recess, so in the end we could only go to play piano during lunch.
then during maths ms mong said that the maths hand in the next lesson, so actually the chionging was all for like nothing...
anyway halfway through maths we went for phototaking, and it was a TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE.
why?
because
I HAD TO SIT IN THE FIRST ROW.
am I that bloody short damnit?!during the formal, good thing the wind didn't get my hair again like last year. *horrid memories begone!* but julian mangaged to grab my hair during the 1st informal D: *pout*
then for the 2nd informal I ran round back to sili and julian because they said can change place.
and the both of them purposely tiptoe so I'll appear, erm, more vertically challenged. Hmpf!
then chinese was sian, did chem ws and xi zi while yang meh was doing the ke wen.
then chem was fun, learning ions :D i can't help liking atoms, can I?
for lunch monty and I ate jap, then we went piano and met xiao meng.
xiao meng was like begging me to teach her to zanarkand also, and I wound up teaching her the left and right hand for the first part.
then rachel came and started teaching julian the left hand also.
so it was quite noisy, lol
then rachel asked me to play the full to zanarkand, and then I played canon in d,
and kang ning and hui xian were upstairs and were like saying i shouldn't hold public concerts, should hold expensive ones lol.
interact play that funny running game again.
tiffany keep trying to sabo me lah, aiyo.
julian also, for that matter. D:
then... assembly was sian... EDS performance was quite... okay lah, no offense, but really soft.
halfway though julian and I decided to go boob sightseeing, and I was like looking at fifi's and making binoculars with my hands and saying "oh look, it the himalayas!" and julian was looking at claire's and saying "oh look, it's bukit timah and bukit merah!" and so on so forth.
apparently julian is the swiss alps, jia wen is hiroshima and nagasaki :P and i'm the rockies -.=
I was like, "mrs ho will be so proud of us for remembering the various mountain ranges"
haiya sian... I think I will go and read Chasing the Dragon now. toodles :D

I'm DAMN BLOODY FREAKING EFFING FED UP.
I don't care, and I'm going all out to scream, but I won't mention names.
however, if this happens again, I WILL NOT HESITATE TO NAME YOU ALL.
I'm already being nice not posting on the choir blog as well.
well, I'm telling you this, ALTOS YOU ALL SUCK.
YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW ALL YOUR IDIOTIC SUCKY ATTITUDES ARE AFFECTING CHRISTEL, CHRISTINA, PEI RU, ME, AND EVERYONE WHO IS TRYING TO HELP YOU.
CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN WE TRY TO CORRECT YOU WE ARE NOT SINGLING YOU OUT, NOR ARE WE TRYING TO MAKE YOU FEEL BAD AND EMBARRASS YOU IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY.
IN RETURN FOR CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM, WE GET YOU SUCKY ATTITUDES AND THEN SOMETIMES, CORRECTION, MOST OF THE TIME, GET FLAMED ON YOUR BLOGS.
THIS DASTARDLY NONSENSE HAS GOT TO STOP, YOU HEAR ME?I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING MS YIN SCOLD US EVERY WEEK, AND SEEING SHERYL AND THE REST OF THE COMM TRY SO HARD, JUST TO MAKE YOU GUYS OPEN YOUR FREAKING BLOODY GOLDEN PRECIOUS MOUTHS. AS IF GOLD WILL DROP OUT OR YOU WILL WIILT IF YOU JUST SING PROPERLY.
YES, SECTIONALS CAN BE BORING, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOU DO NOT WORK HARD, SLACK AND JUST PLAY AROUND. WE ALL TRY SO HARD TO TEACH YOU GUYS AND YOU ALL JUST GIVE US THE FUCKING BLACK FACE. YOU THINK WE ENJOY COAXING YOU ALL, TRYING TO TEACH YOU TO SUPPORT AND EVERYTHING.
AND DON'T YOU FREAKING GIVE ME THE CRAP THAT YOU CANNOT SUPPORT OR CANNOT REACH THE HIGH NOTES.
BEACUSE EVEN IF THEY ARE HIGH NOTES, THE PEOPLE WHO WROTE THE SONG ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, AND THEY KNOW WHAT THE ALTO RANGE IS. AND DON'T FREAKING TELL ME YOU CAN'T HIT THAT BLOODY HIGH D OR WHATEVER CRAP. BECAUSE IT IS ALL WELL IN THE ALTO RANGE. FYI, THE ALTO RANGE IS ACTUALLY TWO Gs ABOVE MIDDLE C. AND THOSE IDIOTS WHO CAN'T READ SCORES, TOO BAD FOR YOU, BUT I'LL TELL YOU THAT IS WAY HIGHER THAN HIGH D. AND THIS IS JUST THE IDEAL ALTO. MOST ALTO 1s ARE MEZZO-SOPRANOS, AND THEIR RANGE IS UP TO TWO As ABOVE MIDDLE C.
I TELL YOU, YOU ALL HAD BETTER BE WARNED THAT I AM GOING ALL OUT TO LASH AT YOU NEXT PRACTICE ALREADY. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN VERY LEINIENT, AND I TRY TO MAKE SECTIONALS LESS BORING BUT IT SEEMS THAT THE ONLY METHOD THAT WORKS ON THE BUNCH OF YOU IS PEP TALKS EVERY WEEK.
YOU GUYS ARE
WEAK, AND I
DESPISE THE WEAK.
I THINK WE CAN ALL JUST SAY GOOD BYE TO CHOIR ALREADY. LO CHEE LIN ALREADY HAS HIS EYE ON DISBANDING CHOIR, BECAUSE AFTER ALL, IF HE FEELS THAT WE ARE WASTING HIS MONEY AND JUST DOING NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE, THAT'S WHAT HE WILL DO BECAUSE, WISEN UP PEOPLE, HE IS THE HEAD OF THIS SCHOOL AND HE CAN DO ALMOST EVERYTHING HE WANTS TO. IF CHOIR IS SO UNIMPORTANT TO YOU THAT YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT WETHER WE SURVIVE OR NOT AND YOU JUST COME FOR THE SAKE OF THE CCA POINTS, THEN QUIT YOU WEAKLINGS! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A CHOIR MEMBER.
just one more mistake. ONE more. poof, the choir is nothing but an embarrassing past in chung cheng's archives. do you know that people look down on us as a cca? can you all just buck up and prove them wrong? well then, I think this is the end.
adeiu, sweet amarilis.

dumdada
dumdada
DUMDUMDUMdada
dumdada
dumdada
DUMDUMDUM!
tada!! all the waiting and drumrolls were worth it, no? :DDD
we all were laughing like shit, and fifi was like in depression.
i expect you will see this soon on sili or julians blog as well :D
poor fifi, but at least now you're world famous, thanks to moi wonderful photography skills! :D
anyway, now I think I had better finish that mountain load of homework D:
4:23 PM
alrighty, on account on the numerous people urging me to update, well, here I am.
yesterday was busy like HELL.
first I had to leave class early and go for the TJ interview, so i skipped the english and lit lecture.
i wish it was the other way round, cos after recess was chinese, then acc, then english and lit.
at any rate, chinese and acc are the better calsses to skip.
aaaanyway, then the interview ended at about 4:30, and my mom picked me up and dropped me in school again for choir.
because I reached only at around 5 pm, I could only stay around for an hour or so, because I had piano at 6:30.
so... I only finally got a breather after piano, at 8pm.
then I had to chiong geog homework and charisma homework.
I only did geog, because it was just 2 pages long, and all the info could be taken from the textbook.
I just did the cover page for charisma and leave the journal-writing for today to do, and just tell mdm yati that i did not bring the english homework as well because I didn't know she would be teaching english during RD. because obviously I had absolutely no time whatsoever to complete my english homework as well.
turns out, geog was cancelled, and charisma was to be handed in by next week.
so all the chionging was all for nought.
but anyway, RD was quite fun, we went to the library, and apparently the future RD lessons are also to be held like this, as well as the sharing of newspaper cuttings.
apart from the newspaper cutting part, I think that the future eng and RD lessons with mdm yati will be quite nice.
she seems to be a very nice teacher... after all we were laughing at the indian guy on the 9 o'clock channel 5 news because we felt he looked like an indian... (oops!)
we also have a new art, teacher, and although she is quite strict, it is pretty clear she knows what she's doing.
unlike the previous art teacher, no offense, but he was really not taking any interest in his job at all, that's for certain.
and this term's art curriculuim looks pretty interesting as well, so things are looking up :D
also, mdm tham is taking us for Hmec this year, and we will be cooking more interesting things than sandwiches this year :D
today I went for lunch at parkway with julian, philene and sili at KFC.
there was this group of VJ guys, and I think I saw evan, but anyway,
julian and I went to order first, while sili and fifi waited to look after the stuff.
i wasn't exactly hungry, so I just had cheese fries and a pepsi.
julian, sili and fifi all had the cheese melts thingi.
and it was so fun :D sili was eating her fries, then at one point of time, she had like 3 fries in her mouth, all covered with mayo and julian and i were overreacting due to excessive exposure to lime and lemon.
and she did it 2 other times, all of which I failed to get a picture of D:
anyway, other pictures:
fifi...

julian...

sili...

on the cheese metlz box, lol!
more pics, actually, but dunno why cannot upload... all these are not that funny. funny ones are later... I'll post it on a seperate post. :D

oh i realised that i forgot to talk about today's farewell party for the sec 4s.
i reached at 12.30 on the dot, and Zann they all were blowing balloons, so i also helped blow some.
Zann wrote my name on a yellow one, then blew it up so my name got really faded and stretched and all, lols.
then she started decorating a white one with lots of heart shapes-then added my name again,
apparently to fill up the blank spaces, according to her.
then i popped it for fun :D *evil grin*
tiffany was like, "why don't you blow then write? then it won't be stretched".
i really think she's lacking in common sense. how she got to the interview stage for vj, i don't know.
anyway, Christel kindly enlightened her that if she were to do so, the balloon would pop, either because the nib is too sharp, or the pen is scratchy and cause the balloon to pop due to excess friction.
then we just sat around and ate lunch for about an hour, then played double whacko for another hour.
Christel conveniently skipped out by claiming to have a heavy-duty headache, and watched us.
Puay Ru eventually joined in after a few rounds.
i was originally sitting behind Zann, when Yun Shi finally hit her, even though i called Kuo Xian already.
then, Yun Shi was behind me, and Tiffany suddenly took it into her head to sabo me.
so i soon got hit by Wei Shan, i think.
yeah, so on and so forth for about an hour.
then there was a misunderstanding, because i was informed that the party was to end at 2.30,
but then apparently it's supposed to end at 4.
so Zann had tuition, and I had make up piano theory, so valid reason, and we left.
unfortunately Puay Ru wasn't allowed to go for some reason.
anyway, I gave this to Yanning:

cute? :D i made it myself...

i put this treble clef thingi on a thread and attatched it to the bob on top of the hat, so that it can like dangle around, and cos the clothes was too loose or something, i put 2 'buttons' on the back, that can't be removed :D

can't actually see properly, but it's attached to the bob, not the smooth part of the hat...
yanning gave us this adorable picture frame with a picture of all us altos last year :D
4:10 PM
so...
choir workshop was pretty okay, much to my surprise.
although it was a bit tiring, due to the long hours.
the new song, adeiu sweet amarilis was relatively easy to learn.
performance piece daemon irrepid callidus (i found out it's latin, Zhi Ying!) was okay,
if not for some people who simply cannot sing just two repetitive notes properly.
christina, christel and i were very worried. i mean, it's just D, C, D, C... and on and on for very long, but still they can't get it.
and they also can't get the 'sinister' feel.
and their adeiu was very airy.
so, needless to say, we were very worried, without worrying for the SIX guys. not 6 tenors, or 6 basses, but 6 tenors AND basses.
however, turns out we needn't have been so worried, cos the guys decided to buck up and be very loud, even louder than the guys from the other schools that had like, 5 times the number of guys than us.
and we were also the smallest choir there.
fairfield was ranked the best, but i think we were second. they only named the 1st cos they said it would be demoralizing.
when the various sections from the 3 other schools were asked which school they thought were the best, all the basses from the 3 other schools thought we were the best, and i think 2 of the other schools thought that the tenors were the best. and when we sent up the representative for our school's bass section, eeron said he thought that our school's bass was the best, and we were all laughing like crazy. i mean, is like the guy really lian pi hen hou.
and a lot, i think 2 schools thought that our sops were the best, and also about 2-3 schools thought our altos were the best :D
although afterwards ms yin said we were sucky (not in her own words)
but i also felt that we didn't do so well, so i was relatively surprised.
we definitely did better when we were rehearsing in the AVT, but when we came out, we sort of got stage fright, even though before that eeron was like telling eveyone not to be scared lols.
so actually i think that we are not as bad as we seem, just that we have to keep the morale going.
because after all it's quality and not quantity that matters.

you might like to check this out - it's pretty, erm, well, hard to describe, but I'll do it to the best of my abilities:
Gross, sick, weird, twistedly funny.
Now go read. Juuuust click on the link. Come on, don't be shy.
linkk.
9:31 AM
ooh sorry, I realised that I haven't posted in eons.
so, here I am posting early in the morning, although you can't really say it's early anymore.
the trip to the kelong was fun! we also went to Sibu, but we went to a different one from last year.
the fishing here is better, cos the fishes are dumber. and also, the rods are better.
this one, we have about a string with six to seven hooks on it, so it's much easier to catch fish.
you just throw in some squid, no need for any real bait on the hook, just to let them gather round.
then just throw your line in and keep jiggling it about, and in about like say five to ten seconds, one minute the longest, you have fish on the hook, but not because they were stupid and bit it, but because they got stuck, or rather, pierced by the hook.
most of the fish I caught were pieced through the eye or the stomach.
only one really did go and bite the hook.
I really am not exaggerating, but I am also not saying that this is the proper way to fish,
because it definitely is not.
I caught about 15 fish, the longest being about 30 cm, which is quite good already considering that majority of the fish there is one-third the lenght and sometimes smaller, and the smallest being about 5 cm.
the small ones are disgusting - they have this mucus like substance covering them, and it's like gross. have you ever watched charlie and the chocolate factory? remember the part where willy wonka had to go and eat the mashed green caterpillars and it was all gooey? yup, just like that, also like how you pull a piece of mozzerella cheese and it stretches, just that it is transparent.
at first we were also to go snorkeling at a nearby coral reef but because some prize idiots forgot to bring their swimsuits, we couldn't go.
so we were fishing most of the time. after dinner, most of the time was spent playing mahjong :D
dad taught us how to play, and it wasn't really fair cos he kept winning.
dad won the most times and I won the second most times. :D
I found out that if I were to sit on dad's right hand side of the table, I would be able to 'suck' all his good luck, most of the time. :D
took a mighty lot of pictures, but with mum's camera, so it will depend on how long my mom takes to upload it to her computer for me to publish them here.
yups, I think this is sufficient compensation for the long time I didn't post.
so, adios, amigo!
